Our strawberry season usually starts late May to early June.
Hood
Amazing berry for fresh eating and preserves. It also has a high sugar content. Though it is not as hardy as other berries, so the quicker to process the better.
Shucksan
Farm favorite fresh eating berry. Large fruit that is great for cooked or frozen jam.
Benton
Great fresh eating berry, its slightly lower acid level makes it 3less good for preserves. It is quick to fall apart when cooked, but it makes a great freezer jam. Not the best for freezing whole.
Marys Peak
Good for fresh eating, preserves and freezing.
